The Imago Dei Series was created to help breath new life into our human understanding of the Divine.  'Imago Dei' is latin for 'Image of God', and each paraphrase of scripture, song, or poem is beautifully illustrated to help provoke each reader's spiritual curiosity about the spiritual image of God.
 
The series begins with a powerful paraphrase of Psalm 139, verses 1 through 18.  The words and illustrations of this book are carefully paired together in order to create a feast for the eyes, imagination, and spirit.  The original text is poetry written by a king centuries ago whose relationship to the Divine continues to inspire people from many different religious traditions and walks of life today.  The modern paraphrase is meant to invite readers of all ages into the intimacy of that relationship for themselves.  Hardly religious, but unabashedly spiritual, this book and the unfolding series are designed to illumine the possibility for readers to grow holy relationships with themselves, others Creation, and the Divine.
